A picture of Portmeirion today, which seems apt considering the loss of Number 6 this week. When we arrived in 'The Village', it was about nine in the morning and the tourist onslaught hadn't yet begun, so we had a couple of golden hours in the sunshine, free to take some people-free pictures. It's a unique, utterly beautiful place. I could have taken thousands of pictures, but this one in particular I think, captures something of the essence of The Prisoner.
